The original Roy Veste in minimalist black signifies the dawn of Wave Texture’s vision.
It stands as the cornerstone of Wave Texture's product collection and represents the culmination of two and a half years of meticulous research and development, resulting in what we believe to be the epitome of sweatshirt perfection.
It served as the blueprint for our limited edition and stands as a testament to our commitment to pushing the boundaries of what a "common" garment can become when infused with the WT vision of inherent quality and constant simplification, resulting in a distinctly minimal yet elevated garment.
This elegant piece combines oversized proportions with a polished two-way silver zipper, originally designed for fine leatherwear. Crafted from 500GSM organic cotton, the French terry loopback echoes 90s aesthetics but is reinterpreted in a contemporary smart casual essential. Our signature arrow cuffs and silk velvet details refine its intrinsic elements, culminating in a oversized hood.

500 GSM Organic Cotton
Nicknamed the “gravity hoodie” by early adopters, the Roy Veste is crafted from ultra-heavy 500 gsm organic cotton, responsibly sourced and spun in France. The dense knit feels soft yet substantial — balancing old-school comfort with a sharp, modern silhouette that transitions effortlessly across seasons and settings.
Japanese Silk Velvet Ribbon Trimmings
A technique borrowed from haute couture dresses and fine cashmere coats, silk-velvet ribbon trims the interior seams of the Roy Veste. These Japanese trimmings soften every contact point while sculpting the garment’s inner architecture — a discreet gesture of luxury designed to be felt more than seen.
Two-Way Excella® Zipper
At the heart of the Roy Veste is a polished two-way Excella® zipper from Japan — a staple in high-end leatherwear, known for its durability and signature shine. It opens from both the top and bottom, offering versatile styling and ease of movement, while serving as a bold, functional centerpiece.
